After 14 years of service Mick, just got demoted from Captain CinemaÕs flag ship 10 plex theatre to their old dilapidated Westlane Cinema and replaced by the slob Marty Mooney, someone Mick trained. Not going to stand for it he and his assistant manager Roger quit and Betty, Captain CinemaÕs best film booker, and try to open up the old closed down Twin Bill just down the highway. Problem is the Twin Bill has been closed for years and needs a lot of work in addition that is property Captain Cinema was hoping to get for next to nothing once it was repossessed for back taxes. The result is Mick and Roger try to stay afloat while Captain Cinema pull one nasty trick after another to get them closed. They try everything from switching the childrenÕs film the ÒExciting Adventures of PinocchioÓ to ÒThe EXOTIC Adventures of PinocchioÓ to vandalizing concession equipment. Mick, Roger and Betty have put together a dysFUNctional crew of candy girls ushers and janitors who do all they can to keep their theatre open. There is a lot of chaos and fun as they fight for their theatreÕs survival goes on.
