A Sneak Peek !!! Welcome to the “A Reel Merry Christmas” site. On December 28th the cast and crew finished primary shooting. We shot 58 pages in three days. Using two cameras speed up shooting quit a bit. The big day of shooting came on December 2, 2007 from 5:00 AM to 7:30 PM at the Star Plaza Theatre. Crew members started getting equipment together at 4:00 AM and were not done till it all got put away at 9:00 PM. That is a 17 hour day for the crew, they did a wonderful job. Thursday the 28th of December was our last day of shooting it was a lighter day but still 5:30 PM to 10:00PM. On Friday December 21, at 7:30 almost one year to the day we started shooting we will be showing the directors cut of the film. There will be a chance to ask cast and crew questions and a reception to follow the screening. Come on out and enjoy the show. Cast and crew are free tickets to the public are $5.00 and for a dollar more you can see “Merry Christmas George Bailey” a 1945 radio version of the classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” the next night. While not the totally completed film it is close. There will still be some sound and color correction and an insert or two added after the sneak peek of the film but the story is all there.
